Yes and then No!
I plan on grabing a copy soon. I'm going to wait a few days though, just so I can get better speeds! I might do it at work today though. I really don't see why people are so excited that it comes with Linux 2.6 since the kernel really don't make that much of a difference. I'm happier that they moved to a much more recent Glibc and GCC than anything else!
Another thing, right now (11:00am Eastern Time) not a single mirror has the ISOs. I haven't tried the torrent, but that's going to be my next try."Today you are freer than ever to do what you want, provided you can pay for it!" --Bad Religion

I have really bleeding edge hardware, so a 2.6 kernel makes the installation slightly more manageable. Many 2.4 kernels that come preinstalled with a system wont even boot on my machine. Luckily slackware 2.4 did, but keeping up with the kernel standard (and as a result the latest hardware) is a good thing.
But you do have a point: I mean, once the OS is installed and running, the first thing I do is put a new kernel in. As long as it boots and has the tools to compile a new kernel, it could be kernel 2.0 for all I cared.
Edit: Oh, and I did notice the mirrors had no iso's, but the torrent download seemed to go fine... havent burnt or booted it yet, but it was pretty quick. Gotta love torrents... The more people want something, the faster it is to get.Living the digital dream....

What the hell? I just noticed X and XAP where movied to disc 2! How does that make sense to anyone? It used to be so awesome that I could get everything I needed off disc 1, now I need 2 CDs? Why not move E, F, K, TCL and Y to disc 2? I might just have to send hate mail!
