    Are Wall Lizards Poisonous?

So I was staring at this lizard in my room and was wondering if it is poisonous. Wikipedia does not have enough content on it and sadly I don't know any zoologist too...

When I was a child, a family friend used to catch lizards scurrying around outside and hang them from his earlobes like earrings. He'd basically just get them to bite down on them. Their teeth were so small it was just a mild discomfort.

In southeast Texas we pretty much just have the little 4-6in (10-15cm) green lizards that eat the mosquitoes. They serve a very useful purpose in that regard. Frogs too.

Man that is so weird....I have never quite understood such people...Although this convinces me better that most lizards are not poisonous....

This one eats all sorts of insects. So basically things that are more likely to poison me are eaten by this friendly creature my mom hates so much.

By the way my house is surrounded by a jungle and that means a lot of insects during these days (its raining in India) and due that there are at least half a dozen of these creatures in my home. Quite lucky I guess

Unless it's coloured all funky I'd assume it wasn't poisonus, but use gloves incase.

It's the gecko I feel sorry for. It can't go online and ask, 'Are human beings poisonous?' I think if it could it might avoid us!

Animals don't know what poison is. They just avoid the funky colours out of instinct.
