The one I had already changed out was a GFI, so like you suggested I had a look around and out in the garage was another GFI (that I didn't know about) that had been tripped, I pressed the reset and they all work now.

Thank god I had been feeling lazy and didn't already go to the hardware store and thanks to all of you for your help.
I was thinking the same thing right away. GFCIs int he bathroom/kitchen.

Am I good or what? btw.. I'm an electrictian's helper on my "real" job. so maybe thats it.
