Are there any Electricians in the house?

I have a slight problem, I have two bathrooms and in each of these bathrooms there is a wall outlet (plug) that doesn't work. They used to work but just suddenly stopped working. I have tried resetting all of my breakers in the house to no avail. I even went to the store and bought a new plug receptacle and switched it out but that didn't work either.
Going to the kitchen or wherever to use my electric shaver is a pain in the ass.
    Any ideas ??

If new receptacles are good but don't work, there's either a break somewhere in your wiring, or the breakers are bad.

    Thanks Ozar,
I will be going to the hardware store today for other unrelated stuff and I will see if I can replace the breakers. It seems my external (outside the house) plugs don't work either, which is where I connect my work shed, so I must fix this!

Probably just some loose connection somewhere, but breakers do go bad occasionally.

HAHA, I think I'd have more luck crawling through the attic looking for a broken cable than a red nosed mouse.

Do you have any GFI (ground fault interrupt) outlets that have tripped? They're the ones used in bathrooms/kitchens (wet places) with the little breaker in them, the black button labeled test and the red reset one.
In our house if one trips, things downstream in the circuit quit working, because they're wired in series.

During one of our blizzards, snow got into our outside breaker box then melted and shorted out some breakers. We had no power in one room for a while until things dried out. Have you had storms lately?

I've also had the cheap, solid copper house wiring stress fracture and break inside the insulation, giving intermittent contact and tripping the GFI outlet. That was hard to track down and isolate.

Working with electricity and troubleshooting problems can be challenging. If the bathroom and outside outlets are on the same circuit/breaker, it could be anything on that circuit.

    good luck

Farmer Mike, DUDE, that was it!!
The one I had already changed out was a GFI, so like you suggested I had a look around and out in the garage was another GFI (that I didn't know about) that had been tripped, I pressed the reset and they all work now.
I'd kiss ya if I could! heh
Thank god I had been feeling lazy and didn't already go to the hardware store and thanks to all of you for your help.
