New social Linux distro looking for volunteers
Hello everybody,
I'm starting out a new Linux distro, aimed at being a real alternative to MS Windows on the Desktop, and which has a social goal, to improve our communities and our world as a whole, through the use of free software.
It will be created BY THE COMMUNITY, FOR THE COMMUNITY.
Since the project is just starting out, this will be a great oportunity for everybody to join in, and play a key role on our success towards making Linux conquest the desktop - and helping poor people around the world to get into the so called _digital inclusion_ .
The project name is Solidos, a pun on Solid + OS (operating system). Access the project homepage to see more details, the project goals and to join to become a contributor!
Access our website at: Solidos
Cheers

I wish you the best of luck, but realistically you're going to need an awful lot to differentiate yourself from all the thousands of other distributions also competing for developers' attention. Why, for instance, should someone already working on Debian or Fedora take time to help you with your distribution? What makes yours unique?
This will get said eventually, so I might as well say it now: wouldn't all your efforts be more suited to helping an existing distribution rather than further dividing the Linux developer community?Registered Linux user #270181

I know it's a pain in the arse, getting other developers, trust me you really need to seel yourself (not like that) to get peoples attention.
I wish you the best of luck.
