Terrifying ! We are finally almost nothing. We need to think of it, when our problems are getting bigger than us....

PS Is still Pluto considered to be a planet? I think I have read somewhere that a newer scientific revision disqualifies it as not having all the needed features to be a planet...

Officially it's a Dwarf Planet (as of a few months ago), which isn't really a Planet.

I'd seen those pictures before on an e-mail, it is really fascinating.

There was a lot of rain in New York City today but I did not care what nature brought. The pictures made me realize I am too small and irrelevant to have anything at all to be concerned about.

Yes amazing! I was just looking at pictures of galaxies taken by the Hubble telescope. Your mind just refuses to work at acknowledging the sheer scale of it all. I mean ... 10,000 galaxies in a single photo, each galaxy containing billions of stars. Some of those stars have planets orbiting them ... Some of those planets probably support life of some sort. I wonder what they look like?

Very nice... I love good astronomy photos. It would be a hoot to be an astronaut, especially once we are traveling to distant planets and such.
