    How's gmail?

I've been using Yahoo for a couple years, but the last month or two, they just seem to be REALLY slow. It's kinda messing me up when I have to sit around for 10 minutes for an email to go out. So how is Gmail? Is it much better?

I'm not a big fan of webmail, but gmail is the best of all the webmail apps I've used. Text only ads, so they are hardly noticeable, and plenty of storage space.

That's just my own opinion of it, of course.

Hi - gmail is okay but I also have a Yahoo account which I use via POP3 and Thunderbird. That might give you some extra speed ...

Yeah, I have to agree with Ozar.

Gmail is far and away the best web-based email client I've used.

I've used Hotmail, Yahoo, ICQmail. They don't come close. For too many reasons to mention.

Here's a third vote for gmail being the best on the Web. What I like most is that a message and all of its replies are shown as one "thread" and can be seen on a single page (or you can hide whatever messages in it you don't want to see).

    1 more vote for Gmail.
I have a Yahoo account, Hotmail and Gmail.
    IMO Gmail is the best.

One more vote for Gmail, I use Hotmail too and the latest interface is pretty decent

I am in love with Gmail. I love it so much that I stopped using Evolution altogether, and that's saying something from someone who has always had very high praises for Evolution.

    I use gmail with thunderbird.

I really like Gmail. I had it synced with Evolution but after a whille I didn't see the point. It has really cool functionality in the browser client including shortcut keys. The only caveat I have seen is occasionally the initial inbox rendering/loading take a little longer than a normal webpage. It's cool though.
