How does one gain the much sought after status of "moderator." The user rankings thread only describes what a moderator is, not how to become one? Just asking, because I would like to know if would be able to help out at all cuz I love these forums!

I think you have to kill another moderator and assume their idenity, but I could be wrong ;)

so you have to become a trusted penguin first... or just torture an existing moderator until they give you their password, login as them, and then change their password, thus preventing them from re-accessing it.
I always heard that you had to be bitten by a moderator, then bury a potato on a full moon while chewing cloves of garlic naked and sing "I wish I were an Oscar Meyer Weiner". Oh wait... that was a fraternity stunt...

So I guess the question is when do you become a trusted penguin. Is there a set amount of questions that must be answered?
I've asked that too, and if there were a set amount of questions I'd have been one already. haha. From what I remember, jason and the other TPs and Mods vote on the next TP in their secret hideout (er... hidden forum). :wink:Quote:
