At least he's not allowed to be "Sir Bill Gates" because he's not British. He just gets to put KBE after his name "Knight Commander of the British Empire".
The U.S. Constitution prohibits US Citizens from receiving titles of nobility, so even if Gates' knighthood wasn't just on paper (which it is), he couldn't accept it anyway unless he expatriated himself and became a citizen of the UK.Quote:
