The simplicITy computer
I saw this on the BBC news today. It's a computer aimed at older people who have never used a computer before and have computer phobia. And it runs on Linux.! The default desktop is very simplified, almost nursery style, but apparently you can replace it by a standard desktop when you get more confident.
A nice article, thanks :D
Different people have different needs. So do many older people, as well as beginners for that matter.
And Super Linux comes to the rescue!
Working, pretty, functional, safe, free and ready for deeper understanding as well :)
Anyone know if the Simplicity Computer is likely to have a Remote Assistance feature?
Just found out it had Linux Mint so I guess it might have VNC. Does it?
Simplicity computers are sold with remote access set up already
at the time of your query they used VNC
but now they use teamviewer
