I've noticed that here as well as other U.K. based forums that it seems everyone (US and UK users) put all (or most of) there stock in what U.S agencies do or think. Dept of Justice say this or NASA says that, or Dept of Defense says this etc....
When did the US government become the defacto standard for everything of the english speaking world? What happened to the European Union?
The EU is a big fat joke. nothing more. It cannot offer our country anything, yet naive old Tony B just cant see that :?Quote:

I don't like quite a few things about the US and plan to at least highly consider moving to another when I graduate from college. I think that the main reason for the US being referenced in this way is that we're such a big country made up of small states (and a nicely tiered government)...that organizations like the EU would want to emulate it (because it works well, all in all).
