Make it possible for users to mark their threads as solved?

I've often found the feature of letting users mark their threads as solved as a nice feature. For one, it tells people that there is/may be a solution to a problem. And two, it stops people from going to a thread that already has an answer, thereby allowing people to put their efforts elsewhere.

So, how 'bout it?

This has been discussed a number of times in the past:

http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/com...-feasible.html

http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/com...ds-solved.html

http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/com...-iniative.html

Core Wizard said in one of the threads that he intends to create a button so that users can mark their own threads "solved".

Thanks for the feedback.
