Strange thread formatting

Has anyone else noticed that some Forum threads contain too many hard returns? I thought it was just the way some people post, but I see this a lot:

Hi
My hdd seems to
be doing strange things.
Does anyone
have any ideas?

I quite like it in a weird way, but ...??

Hi, fingal

I've noticed that, too, and it's something that just started occurring. The Forum Rules link was a good example, but the extra space is gone today. I'm not sure, but I think there might be ads in those spots that you don't see if you are using an adblocker. Just guessing, though.

Core Wizard is doing some work on the coding of the site, so that might have something to do with it. I'll post back should I learn more.

Ok, is this problem still there? If yes, any examples?

Hi Core Wizard - Ozar was right: the strange formatting was because ads. were included alongside Forum posts. I think you may have removed these now...

I couldn't see the ads because I use NoScript when I surf. Thanks!

Fingal

Actually, this thread still contains an advert. Is this meant to happen?
