Unintentional Smileys

Would it be possible to make the smiley replacement dependent on a word boundary? That way things like aboutlugins (about: plugins) wouldn't be affected

Users can also select the "Disable Smilies in Text" checkbox in Miscellaneous Options to stop their text from being turned into accidental smilies.

Got it! I was looking in my profile  but that seems to Disable all smileys

Surely the smiley code above should be parsed but about:plugins shouldn't be?

It's also available in the various options whenever you use the Reply to Thread button.

Look below the message text box under Additional Options / Miscellaneous Options / Disable smilies in text

LOL skype always catches me with the smileys thing too. I often use :o) as a smiley face in text, but it changes to ) LOL At least here on the forum :o) stays as is!

Perhaps smileys should be enclosed by square brackets?
