[SOLVED] Only allowed to post URLs to other sites after making 15 posts

I am trying to make a post and I keep getting the error message "You are only allowed to post URLs to other sites after you have made 15 posts or more." This is odd because my post does not include any URLs. Any ideas?

THanks,
Chris.

Welcome to the forums!

I'm pretty sure that the software will not allow you to post anything that includes the following until after you've made 15 or more posts:

http
www
@

If any of those are in what you are trying to post, you might try replacing them with other characters.

Let us know.

Thanks. My message included the text root(ampersand)MMME1. I removed the character (ampersand) as you suggested and I was able to make the post.
