[SOLVED] Not allowed to reply to posts

When attempting to post to I get the following message;

Code:
The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters.
I get this no matter which browser I am using FF 3.0.12 or EI 6.0. The replies are longer then 10 characters Anyone know what I have to look at to fix this? I can post new messages though as this one worked. Anyone have any ideas?

Do you get this error when using the "QUOTE" button or the "Quick Reply" at the bottom of the thread?

Moe,, I just got a PM from Lazydog

Sorry for sending a PM to you but I cannot reply to the above thread and answer techieMoe's question. Was wondering if you could reply for me please?

I can hit "Quote Reply" or just "Reply to post" neither of them work for me. I don't use "Quick Reply"

Quick reply is fine, neither reply to post or quote work.

They both work for me, too. I never use quick reply anymore, so don't know about that. This was posted using the regular Reply To Post button.

OK, I'm at home now and just double checked Quote and Reply to Post to see if the issue was work related, proxy setting or something, and it still didn't work. Yes I read the above replies I was just checking. This is being posted using Quick Reply
