Question A career or qualifications section?

I think it would be a good idea to have a separate forum section for careers in Linux, which would also encourage threads about relevant qualifications. There have been quite a few threads about this recently, and I've seen this done on at least one other *nix forum.

Potential employers could use it to look for workers - potential workers could respond in PMs. Maybe some informal networks would start up in this way. Maybe, perhaps: am I being idealistic? I think it could work!

I'm certainly for the idea of having somewhere to put all these certification threads other than the "Misc" section.

The Obvious Sometimes Escapes Us

The funniest thing just happened. I was looking at other posts similar to this one and I noticed that there was an add at the top of the screen. It is sublte in that it blends in so well with the banner in which it is encased, but the text that lies therein, as well as the text at the other end of the hyperlink is conversely profound.

Getting paid to write about Linux sounds like the 'break-in' that I need.

I followed the link. I sent the email.

Wish me luck!
