daark.child Trusted Penguin Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: South Yorks, UK Posts: 4,105	I moderate on another Linux forum and we get such requests all the time (we just explain that we don't routinely close or delete threads), but I've never figured out why anyone would start a thread and then later on ask for it to be deleted. To me, the point of a forum is to share ideas and solutions. If you delete your thread then no one else benefits from the discussion. If you get a solution before someone has replied, its important that you post your solution so that others benefit from it.
