| Unable to connect... I am new to Linux. I've been interested in installing and converting to Linux completely for many years, and I chose to attempt to do this with Debian recently. Forgive my ignorance, I am really only used to Microsoft and Apple based OSes, and I am not too familiar with Networking/IT terminology.
I am running an Intel based system with a wireless internet connection. The Wireless device connected to my PC goes through a USB port. It is a Linksys Wireless-G adapter, and it works fine in Windows and on the embedded version of DSL(Damn Small Linux). DSL was able to connect to the internet using what i think is referred to as the DHCP protocol. However, during the installation process, Debian was unable to do so. Any help will be much appreciated. =) |
