[SOLVED] Openoffice.org isn't showing up

SOLVED:

openoffice.org-core wasn't installed. I noticed this via synaptic.

thread to be closed, please

------------

I'm using debian etch.
It's a new install.
One of the first things I tried to do was use openoffice.org.
I noticed it was not in the menubar, so I tried to access it via terminal.
I think it required an install from the debian CD 1, so I apt-get'd it.
I'm pretty sure I installed openoffice.org-common correctly.
But it's not loading.
I get this error message:

Code:
blah@somesystem:~$ openoffice
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice: line 240: /usr/lib/openoffice/program/pagein: No such file or directory
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice: line252: /usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice.bin: No such file or directory
blah@somesystem:~$
the man page does show up if I

man openoffice
