Current open source driver status

I too have been left out in the cold by this horrible, horrible company. I hold infamous grudges and am quite done with Promise and their ridiculous idea of support. For those interested, 3ware's cards are more expensive, but much better supported, and faster. With the time I WASTED on my SX4 card, I could have paid for two 3ware cards.

Anyway... current status on the open-source driver can be obtained from:
http://linux-ata.org/driver-status.html

Looks like it will be up to the UNPAID to carry the burden for Promise.
