I have two questions

1. GUI doesn't allow me to login as root, what should i do to login into gui as root.

2. I logged into GUI as user. I mounted a hard drive using SU. I can access this hard drive using root but I cant access the folder in user mode. Is there a way that I can access the mounted hard drive folder in user mode.

1. What Distro are you using.
2. to be able to R/W on a mounted drive,
you need to add "user" into your fstab. (option sections)
/etc/fstab

what is a Distro mean? I am new to linux so I dont know this term.

But, I can tell that my linux is Debian, I am using KDE enviroment.

I was able to figure out the problem with my second question with my friends help. He suggested the same as you told. I went to /etc/fstab file and set the user option to my user name.

Distro or Distrobution is whatever linux you've got e.g. Debian, SuSE, Yoper etc

Try try booting into debian in command line, loging in as root and then typing

startx

and seeing if this alows you to be in GUI as root

first, it is not recommanded to do a login as root, so ask yourself if you really need this
second, if the answer to the first point is "yes, I really want this": you have to change the Display Manager Configuration.
if you use GDM:
log as user and in a shell become root, then

#gdmconfig

-in this seetings, in the security properties Options enable Mister Root to connect _localy_ on this machine
-close
-restart gdm
