hello all,
i have an amd 2200 XP++ 1.81ghz processor with 224mb ram and vga grapics card.I bot with the pcqlnux2004 cd1 and press enter for the graphical version but it starts and at apoint after probing all devices it suddenly stops and my monitor becomes blank.Then i tried the textual version and it worked until the installation afew times and some times it created some problems .when the boot prompt appears and then i boot into pcqlinux it starts well but at interactive setup it again stops ,i dont know whether it stops or not but my monitor starts blinking again.Then i tried your debian dvd .It worked well .it was even easy to install with three levels but only the terminal appeared at the last level .I couldnt get the gui version or simply the desktop .There was some error saying couldnt load xwindows and asked to visist its site for techical problems .I previously installed pcqlinux 8 in my system.It worked well ,then i updated it to pcq2004 in march 2004 in which u supplid it. it worked well .Then i unistalled i because i formatted my harddisk and then i loaded windowsand again tried to install linux .I told you abov what problems arrived in installing it. Somebody please help me out.
