I believe Konqueror automatically scans the mozilla directories for plugins and uses them. If you install flash for mozilla/firefox you should see it in konqueror.

Thanks, but I'm a newbie to Linux. Do you know how to install it for Mozilla?

You'll most likely use synaptic to search for it - I'm not really a Debian person, maybe someone else can pick this one up?

06-28-2006 #6The flash plugin is avalaible from 2 different packages: one called "flashplugin-nonfree" from the "non-free" section of the official Debian repository, or the other commonly known is the one by Christian Marillat, which is called "flashplayer-mozilla".

As for making it work, it is just like bigtomrodney said, Konqueror will scan the Mozilla plugins. If not, just go in Konqueror options and do a manual plugins scan ("plugins" section of the options)."To express yourself in freedom, you must die to everything of yesterday. Thanks. So I just log onto my root terminal and type apt-get install flashplayer-mozilla?

06-29-2006 #8Once you have added the Marillat's repository to your /etc/apt/sources.list file, that's what you do, yes.

06-29-2006 #10Isn't this the Debian section of the forum? Aren't you using Debian (stable or Sarge, testing or Etch, unstable or Sid)?
