Question Beryl

When I start Beryl using the terminal the screen blinks and then just comes back to normal, no Beryl magic can be seen, here's the out put of the command

Code:
vidanaarachchi@v-base:~$ beryl

I'm using beryl-core 0.3.0-svn version, and Debian testing. I have an ATi vga card (I know that this works with beryl because I had Beryl working on Kubuntu 6.10)

I'm using the "radeon" driver and direct rendering is enabled

this is the output of the command "glxinfo | grep direct"

Code:
vidanaarachchi@v-base:~$ glxinfo | grep direct
libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x4b
direct rendering: Yes
My xorg.conf file like this

Code:
vidanaarachchi@v-base:~$ cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf
# /etc/X11/xorg.conf (xorg X Window System server configuration file)
#
# This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using
# values from the debconf database.
#
# Edit this file with caution, and see the /etc/X11/xorg.conf manual page.
# (Type "man /etc/X11/xorg.conf" at the shell prompt.)
#
# This file is automatically updated on xserver-xorg package upgrades *only*
# if it has not been modified since the last upgrade of the xserver-xorg
# package.
#
# If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated
# again, run the following command:
# sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg
