    Help with image

    Hello,

    i search for the Linux Debian CD/DVD i would like to have it on 1 dvd but i can't find please help, i found some results but that were 21 cd's :o i want to use it for my server pc and i'm totally new to this forums so i don't know everything hope you all can help me on my normal desktop i'm using Ubuntu.

    You don't have to download all the cd or dvd is you don't want. You can use a minimum size cd and just download the rest that is need. The full debian distro is 3 dvd, but you can just download the first one (debian-40r0-i386-DVD-1.iso)

    ...another option (if you are interested) is the netinstall method:

    Debian -- Network install from a minimal CD

    That's the method I use for installing Debian and it works everytime. Just download the minimal CD of your choice and load all other desired packages online. It's quick and easy.

    Still, I can see wanting it all on CD/DVD.

    thanks ozar, but i need the CD becuase the dvd-rom from my server pc is broken so if anyone can give me a link to a good debian cd it will be much appreciated

    EDIT: i'm downloading the netinstall debian now
