can't play cd's from the shell
Hey guys,
I'm trying to open sound juicer and play a cd from the shell. I enter this command: sound-juicer -d %d and I get this message
sound-juicer:1293): gnomeui-warning**:while connecting to session manager:authentication rejected, reason : none of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed. Then a dialog box opens up that says:could not read the cd:sound juicer could not access the cd-rom device '%d' reason:no such file or directory. sound juicer then opens but it won't play the cd. now if I set sound juicer to autoplay and I put the cd in, sound juicer starts up and plays the cd. but I want to be able to run it from the shell. does anybody know if this is doable?
oh yeah I have debian etch
