    Installation (Packages)

When you tell the Debian Etch installer that you want to install a "Web Server", "File Server", "Mail Server", "Standard System" and "SQL Database", what packages is it going to install? Is there a way I can check?

Probably an easier way is to install without those packages, then, after installation, install those with apt-get which will tell you what dependencies and packages it will need to install. It will give you the option of "yes" or "no" to install.

Is there going to be an apt entry for "Web Server" and "Database Server"? I know how to install MySQL for example, but what I am after is how do I know that "Database Server" installs MySQL, and not postgres, for example.

    Thanks for the reply.

Hmmm.... I run two boxes with Debian based distros but don't know that. This seems like a perfect question for devils_casper.
