    all about .deb package in debian distro

    hi all
    i just shifted to debian from ubuntu machine...
    i installed globe7 dedian package in ubuntu...

    now i would like to install globe7 in debian distro..
    is it works?( there is no seperate package for debian, sothat,)

    if any help thank you ..

    As long as the Globe7 .DEB file is a regular .DEB file, it should install just fine. If it's compiled specifically for Ubuntu, you might run into problems with dependencies or missing libraries depending on what you have installed on the Debian system.
