    Can I ask some specific questions?
    Does Debian handle wireless connections?
    Does Mepis handle wireless connections?

    Yes to both questions for both Debian and Mepis. The biggest difference is that Mepis is going to be more user friendly (wireless especially).

    Thanks Vergil for the information. That will probably decide the Linux distro I'll stay with in my next upgrade. Need to have wireless easily operable. JoKonrad
