    no composit extension available?

    hey guys, I'm using Ubuntu 7.10 RC (the reason I put it in the Debian section is because it's based off of Debian. If it doesn't belong here, then go ahead and move it to the appropriate section. I'll find it eventually ) and I've got my proprietary ATI drivers (fglrx) enabled. I'm using an ATI radeon xpress 200 graphics card, and I'm trying to enable Compiz-fusion.

    However, whenever I try to do this I get this error (click on the image to get a bigger pic)-



    so.... what should I do to enable Compiz-fusion?

    well, I added a few lines to my xorg.conf file and now I'm getting a very descriptive 'the visual effects could not be enabled' error.
