How do I make it download them instead of ask for the DVD everytime? Surely this is terrible practice, but its much more lazy, and thats the way to go ...

    Packages From Synaptic come from DVDs?

    How do I make it download them instead of ask for the DVD everytime? Surely this is terrible practice, but its much more lazy, and thats the way to go , right?!

    You probably need to edit your /etc/apt/sources.list and comment out the cd/dvd repo. Also make sure you have some http/ftp mirrors enabled.
