    Auto Unmount USB Drive

    Hi guys,

ive installed debian and all is working ok, but i cant save files to my usb drives. I can see them, so they are mounted and i have permission to write to them because i dont get any errors, saying permission denied or anything. If however i put the files there and then unmount the drive they remain on the usb drive and it all works fine. but this is a bit too complex for my users as they arent exactly computer literate.

so is there a way to automattically unmount the usb drive so that my users can just pull the usb stick straight out. ? (i know its prob not the best for the the usb drive but anyway)

any help would be much apreciated

Please Help, i know its not good for the drives and that you should always use the unmount command but my users will be using rdesktop fullscreen and will be unable to do this from a terminal session, let alone understand what it is that they are doing

    Please Help

I have no idea what this thing is like but it might be what you are after:

    DynUsb:

    SourceForge.net: Files

Alternative package types further down the page. Hope helps.
