    Hi, i have been tempted into using IRC, but I haven't got a clue on how to do it. I really need somebody to tell me how to get from zero to chatting. Please help, help, Pleeaaaase!!!

    Do you have any irc client installed? I am using konversation in KDE and xchat in gnome.

    Xchat and Konversation are two of the easiest to use clients, in my opinion.
