Program to sync system clock with the internet

Hi is there a program that sync the system clock with the internet. I know I have had this on Ubuntu but my main machine needs it. I don't know why the clock goes funny sometimes. I check the bios and that is right. I have changed the bios battery 3 times this year. Gee those things don't last very long anymore.

    Ah

Yep I think I got and installed that one. Just an hour ago I found something. I think it was ntp........ . Don't remember the whole thing. I was trying for several weeks to find something so that is why I thought I would ask and then shortly afterwards I found something after googling for the 10th time.
    Thanks!!!
