    Problems with pidgin and gaim

    I installed gaim, try to connect it but only display failed to connect to server, then tried to give it a shot with pidgin but i couldn't connect either,

    Pidgim shows a dialog box which says something about ssl and msn, so i tried to install some libraries and failed again.

    Pidgim also shows me that my account is disconnected

    Well I did reverce engenier the MSN protocol a couple of times.
    And it uses SSLv3 to connect to the server.
    So you'll need to have SSL support on your box.
    Else you cant connect.
