    clean memory

Hi, someone disconnected my usb-key from the computer before finishing a deletion. Now I have some crazy memory on the loose. I know how to clean from my floor the blood of the person who did it, but I don't know how to do the same with the renegate megabytes. Could someone help?

destory the file propher.? Sorry, I didn't understand that.

I have some memory full with data that " ls -plathR " cannot see.
I destroyed (with " rm -r ") the folder where the data was, before the failed deletion.
I rebooted the system, I remounted the usb-key, and the garbage is still there.

What is what I must detroy and how? Is there any apt-gettable utility to clean up a drive?

    Thanks.

Yea, try to remove that junk now again.
    It should just work.
Linux is really user friendly in that way.
