    Dial up modem on toshiba X205-S7483

    Just got this amazing laptop today and first thoughts were to put ubuntu on it. Everything worked great except the modem. I searched around for a while seeing if there was any info on were to get a driver and nothing i couldnt find anything. Plz anyone know how to get this computers modem working?

    when i run the scan modem app i get.

    The softmodem chip 0x11c11040 is not yet supported under Linux.

    Hello,
    I'm a gentoo user but have the same problem.
    I registered here to request you if you got any information regarding installing this modem, I (and many others) would be glad to be informed. I'm heavily searching to solve the problem but yet in vain. Please keep investigating. If you have any comment or idea please state.
    Thanks to every linux user,
    PS I own a Toshiba a215 s5818 which has the same modem. Everything works but the sh!t modem.
