The following packages have been kept back:
    linux-image-2.6-486
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.

I have also been having trouble with Korganiser and Ksnapshot crashing so this is why I thought there might be something that will resolve it. When I try to save a new entry in Korganiser it just closes and the crash handler comes up which is attached. I click onto the backtrace tab and I get that gdb is missing so I just installed it via the package manager. I don't really understand what it does but thought i'd better get it.
Luckily Gimp is working so I am able to do an image capture.
Does anyone know what all this means as I did google and all I deducted was it might have something to do with a newer version of Debian? I don't know because the posts I read are too old.
