    ya lol

im gonna use the 160 to hold all the stuff i dont watch as much.
    i have a 250 im gonna part
    part 1 40 GB ntfs
part 2 rest of disk ext3

that way i can play with the ntfs read write, i want to have a place that azureus can share between operating systems.. and see how well it works.. lol.. ive done it before.. i used the program that let me read and write to ext3 with windows
the problem came with the program had ghey errors.. so id write and such but the program took a dump and i quit being able to see my ext 3 drives...

but anyways, i parted my 320 drive as such
    -1 50GB winXPPro
    -2 extended partition 51GB
    ---5 ext3 linux mint 15GB
    ---6 ext3 mint home 15GB
    ---7 linux swap 1GB
    ---8 ext3 (other OS) 20GB
    -3 ext3 free space 198GB

i took care of my ownership problems..
a good fresh install and some toying let me figure everything out..
next should be my debian install. hopefully that will go ok
im considering XFCE.. but who knows.. since mint debian will use gnome.. i may just go ahead and stick to that.. ..
