    Debian sound problem-- plz help



    I have installed Debian 4.0. My sound card is HDA Intel..
    Sound card is detected in my Debian and sound files are playing in my system. But i am not abel to hear the sounds..
    ebven I increase the volume.

    I have installed all the drivers necessary



    Can anybody help me in this problem.. Plz...

    No Sound in SID ux, X-mas edition, turtle

    This edition of Sidux, X-mas, gets stuck on sound setup on my cheap turtle beach sound card on my 6100sm-m board. Software Disabling the onboard sound may help, it doesn't work anymore. Somehow got sound in prior version of Sidux.
