    etch network issues



    What does work:
    I can ping sites like Google.
    I can connect via FTP to external sources.

    What doesn't work:
    I do 'apt-get update' it just hangs and then says that it cannot connect. Also when I do 'lynx Google' it cannot connect.

    Any ideas on how I can figure out what's going on? Thanks.

    Looks like my DSL providers DNS was scewing things up. When I switched to a different nameserver things started to work.
