DNS Domain Setup

I have been trying to setup a sub-domain name for a few days now. I think I have probably read 6 or 7 different guides on how to setup a domain name via bind9. But, I have not been able to figure out how to do this.

My biggest problem isn't necessary setting up a domain name, its setting up a sub-domain. Reason is, I don't have control over the domain is because I currently run a VPS which I've been assigned a sub-domain (which doesn't point to my ip addresses for some reason) and two name servers named ns.k21-01.disk23.bogus and ns2.k21-01.disk23.bogus

Obviously I don't own the domain name however I still want the k21-01.disk23.bogus name to point to a address.

How do I set this up in a zone file.
