    How to enable iceweasel updating?

    Hi all,
I use Debian and 'iceweasel' here does not have the option of auto updating.
Automatic search for updates is disabled in iceweasel.

How to enable it? Do we have to edit '/etc/iceweasel/pref' or someother file?
    How to edit?

Its disabled by default because Package Manger takes care of update. If Iceweasel start updating itself, it might generate package conflicts. Lets pacakge manager handle it.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Ok, I checked the Synaptic and found that indeed update was available. I was
used to firefox notifying me about the updates.

But, anyway, if we want automatic update nofification inside iceweasel what file
do we have to edit and how? This is only for knowledge sake.
