    2 Problems...

    I want to quit windows but since i'm new to linux i've some problems.

    I'm having Laptop of HP Dv9000tx series. My audio icons look as if its okay. but its not playing ie no sound is coming out.

    I went to my friends office and connected the net...and its worked. But at my place its pacenet. How to make it work.

    What os are you using
    and what appln. are you using to play the sound??
