    Installation of Video card

    I have just started with Linux. I have installed it but it is not accepting the video card. I am using nvidia card. What settings i need to put to get it fixed.

    you need to download and install the appropriate nvidia driver from the nvidia website, which driver you get will depend on the card model and the architecture you are running on, you will need to install the package build-essential in order to install the driver
