General torrent problem in Etch.
Hello all! Short presentation. I've done alot of computing in my earlier days, but something happend, and i have not touched an computer in like 8 years. Now i got the right motivation for it again (mainly learning some programming), and have been trying out LOADS of distrubutions latly. Slackware 12.1 (my "old" brand), ubuntu hardy, debian sid, lenny and etch, gentoo, suse++
But it seems Debian Etch is what i want. It's by far the best distrubution to fit my needs. It's rock solid, and stuff like compiz is running far better (faster, more stable) than on any other brand i've been trying out. Of course, evrything is not bleeding edge, but hey, it wont break the system either. It all seems fast and stable.
I can live with a bit dated software when evrything runs this smooth.
However, theres a few things that i would need some help for. In any other distro i tried (counting lenny and sid aswell) torrents was no problem at all. Something in Etch wont allow me to download for some reason. I have tried alot of different programs, but noone works. They all checks the files on the computer (resuming an existing downlad), but it wont connect! Evrey application either just halts at connecting or gives me message that the application is banned from tracker.
Any ideas? Azureus is telling me theres a NAT error, however, it was no problem at other distros, and i'm at same network
I really really wanna figure this out in etch, because as i said, its by FAR the most
pleasing distro in every other aspect in my opinion.
