Pendrive linux boot/network issues on newer HPCompaq desktop
I'm wanting to use my USB flash drive Pendrive linux at work on a newer desktop (HP/Compaq). It won't fully boot unless I use a command line acpi=off because I notice it will hang at the ACPI detection area. When it does boot in full, I have no network connectivity at all. I can't even see a network device in the network manager area. Is there something I can do to make this work with networking included on this HP desktop?
