Need help configuring webcam

I bought a Compal FL92 bare bones pc and installed Debian on it, I'm having problems with the webcam I can't get it to work, any suggestions? It's not detected.

What brand of webcam is it. Can you post the output of the following command...you can run it in any terminal such as gnome-terminal or konsole.

well the problem is i'm not sure the only info i'm getting is that it's a 2mp camera, which doesn't help. It isn't listed in my warranty or brochure on who manufactured it.

Post the output of 'lsusb' (webcam would be using a USB). Is it Debian etch (4.0)?
