HiTi PS730 (photo printer) not printing

I installed my HiTi PS730 photo printer through the GNOME CUPS printer setup. I downloaded the drivers from here. Jobs are sent just fine without error, but the printer physically doesn't even make a sound, or display error lights. I'd be very grateful if someone helped me get this working.

The CUPS web interface shows the following information about the installation:

    Some USB info from /dev:

    Code:
    brad@debian-seed:~$ ls /dev | grep lp
    lp0
    brad@debian-seed:~$ ls /dev | grep usb
    usbdev1.1_ep00
    usbdev1.1_ep81
    usbdev2.1_ep00
    usbdev2.1_ep81
    usbdev3.1_ep00
    usbdev3.1_ep81
    usbdev4.1_ep00
    usbdev4.1_ep81
    usbdev4.2_ep00
    usbdev4.2_ep81
    usbdev4.2_ep82
    usbdev5.1_ep00
    usbdev5.1_ep81
    usbdev5.5_ep00
    usbdev5.5_ep01
    usbdev5.5_ep81
I also tried downloading the official driver from the HiTi website. (it looked exactly the same as the other one, but I still tried it) Same thing. HiTi support isn't responding to me. The printer works fine on Windows and printing directly from a SD/CF card.
